GeForce GTX 680

GeForce GTX 680 is one of the most high end cards. It comes before GTX 690 as GTX 690 is the newer version of this card and is better than this version of the card. For a while the mighty Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 2GB was the rockstar king of the single GPU graphics cards market, lady graphics cards screamed as it walked by while lesser cards looked on jealously at its beefy specs list and GPU Boost feature!

This is a factory overclocked card, the Jetsream improves on the clock speeds from a stock GTX 680 2GB. the GPU runs at a base clock speed of 1,084MHz and has an increased boost threshold of 1,150MHz. These are gains of eight per cent and are complemented by a 75MHz increase in the base memory clock, leading to an effective memory speed of 6.3GHz - a 300MHz effective boost which is quite impressive for a card of this caliber.

If you want to know more about the features introduced by Nvidia on this Graphics card Click here

Well these details dont matter much for a person who only wants to do gaming and have no information regarding its specifications. Gamers all over the world only require performance and this beast is the right choice for them. You will be able to play all the latest games ( all settings at maximum/ultra ) with very decent fps 60+ to me more precise.
Well this card has been tested on the following hardcore games which sucks the life of your graphics card as in their graphics requirement is very high :
1. Battlefield 3

2. Crysis 2

3. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Here is a performance chart which clearly shows that this Graphics card is at a pretty good position and is definitely what gamers these days need. This beast of a card will be sufficient for the latest games and also the upcoming games which are to be released soon.
